Rice Pudding

A popular nursery pudding.

  • 60 g pudding rice
  • 400 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 100 ml single cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1/2 cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of caster sugar


  • Put all ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Bring to the boil and turn to a simmer.
  • Simmer for about 30mins, keep stirring!
  • Done! Eat with jam, or just a but of grated nutmeg on top!
